Ball Drop Hydraulic Disconnect
Renown’s Ball Drop Hydraulic Disconnect is a liner drop-off tool for any liner size. The liner below the tool is disconnected by dropping a ball down the tubing and applying hydraulic pressure to shift a piston to disconnect the bottom sub. Once the liner is disconnected, ports open above the ball to allow the tubing string to drain. The lower end of the disconnect tool is left down hole providing a common fishneck.
