Spears are the most common fishing tool in the industry.  It utilizes an internal catch and rotational safety release.  The Fishing spear comes in a vast variety of series, sizes, and styles.   Optional reverse engagement is available (Right Hand Engage, Left Hand Release).  The Fishing Spear has a hollow bore to allow forward or reverse circulation when landing or getting down to your fish.
